Laser cutting is a technology that uses a laser to cut steel, stainless steel, aluminium and other materials, and is widely used at our production facility. Laser cutting works by directing the output of a high-power laser most commonly through optics. The laser in combination with CNC used to direct the laser beam guarantees maximum accuracy and precision.
For a small to large large series of products, Superfix can deliver the required products. Thanks to our high level of automation coupled with our flexibility, our laser cutting machines can deliver fast and with high precision the required results. Almost all types of steel can be processed by our laser cutting machine up to a thickness of 20 mm, also aluminum is possible up to a thickness of up to 8 millimeters.
Our laser cutting machines are fully computer controlled with an automatic loading system. A specific Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) file , created by our engineering department, is required to turn the wishes and needs into the product. When submitting your design in an AutoCAD file, our engineering department can easily turn it into a CAM file and upload the drawing into the laser cutting machine after which the production process immediately starts fully automatic.
When no AutoCAD files are available, our professionals can create the desired AutoCAD drawings according to the wishes and demands. For some projects, AutoCAD files are not necessary and the required CAM files can be created from the design drawings, speeding up the process.
Depending on the application and purpose of the final product, Superfix can give the necessary advice on which materials should be used.Laser cutting materials such as high strenght steel requires a high amount of expertise. Superfix in-house expertise makes sure that the quality and properties of the materials such as high strength steel and aluminum are not lost during the process.
